From the moment we arrive to the moment it is on the wall or plinth, the same dedicated team stays accountable for your collection.

Yes. For high-value and delicate pieces we build crates to the exact dimensions of the work, with the right internal cushioning, bracing and moisture barriers for the medium and the journey. A small framed photograph, a large oil on canvas and a heavy bronze each need a different crate, and we plan the right construction before move day. For loans and exhibitions we can also build reusable crates so the piece travels and returns in the same purpose-made case.

Sudden swings in temperature or humidity are one of the biggest risks to fine art, so we plan climate-aware transport from origin to destination. That includes climate-controlled vehicles where required, sealed and insulated crating, acclimatisation time before installation, and routing that avoids unnecessary exposure. Our team assesses each work's sensitivity — canvas, panel, paper, mixed media or sculpture — and matches the conditions to what the piece needs.

Yes. We document the condition of each piece before it moves and again on arrival, with notes and photographs, so there is a clear record at every handover. Condition reports are especially important for museum loans, gallery shows and insurance, and they give you and any institution you work with confidence that the work travelled exactly as expected. Reports are shared with you and kept on file for the consignment.

Yes — managing the full loan loop is a core part of our HNI service. We coordinate the move from your home, gallery or storage to the borrowing institution, handle the install on site, and then manage the de-install and secure return after the exhibition closes. We work alongside curators, registrars and gallery teams so the loan, the show and the homecoming are all handled with the same care, paperwork and chain of custody.

Collectors can opt for comprehensive All Risk cover with BVC, protecting the artwork for its full declared value from pickup through transport, storage and installation to final placement or return. We recommend All Risk cover for every high-value movement, though you are also free to ship under your own fine-art policy.
