Why This Process Exists
Doré bars carry recoverable gold and silver but in a less obvious form — which makes them just as risky to move. The cost of “almost careful enough” is unacceptable in this segment.
BVC has been moving bullion for Indian banks, refineries, mints, importers and jewellers since 1960. Every step of the process below has been built around one rule: no bar moves without a verified document and a recorded touchpoint.

The Full Process
From the moment your shipment lands at the customs facility, every touchpoint is checked, recorded and tracked.
Step 1 · Origin
Bullion and Doré bars arrive from international sources and land at the customs facility with the delivery challan or commercial invoice.
Step 2 · Collection
A trained, background-verified BVC team collects the bullion or doré bars from the customs facility, checks the parcel against the delivery challan or invoice. Vehicles, route and timing are pre-planned for security.
Step 3 · Verification & Sealing
At pickup, the BVC team verifies all documents, matches the number of parcels against the paperwork, and — on request — records individual bullion bar numbers in the system. Tamper-evident seals are applied and a unique BVC parcel ID is assigned and updated in the system for full transparency.
Step 4 · Movement
For bullion requiring storage, the shipment is moved to the nearest BVC hub. For bullion going straight to the destination, it travels in armoured GPS enabled vehicles with 24x7 CCTV. Doré bars are never stored — they move directly from the customs facility to the refinery.
Step 5 · Hub (Bullion Only)
At the BVC hub, the security team cross-checks the shipment against documents and the system record. The bullion is then stored in a secure vault. When you request dispatch, the requested bars are pulled, re-verified against your instructions, and only the right bars are released — never substitutes.
Step 6 · Final Delivery
At the destination — refinery, bullion dealer, or jeweller — the BVC delivery partner verifies an OTP shared with the receiver. The shipment is released only to the named authorised person after a physical ID check. The receiver signs and stamps the receipt; the digital POD is updated in the system.
Chain of Custody
Bullion and doré security is not about one strong vault. It is about creating an unbreakable chain — where every person who touches the parcel, at every stage, has signed off in the system against the documents.
If a step is skipped, the parcel does not move. If a number doesn't match, the parcel does not move.
