Running a jewellery brand online is exciting. Managing the warehouse that goes with it — not so much. You need secure vaults, trained staff, insurance, packaging, inventory software, and still get orders out on time. BVC’s Smart Fulfilment Centres take all of that off your plate — so you can focus on growing your brand, not running a warehouse.

The Real Cost Of Doing Fulfilment In-House

Before we talk about how BVC helps, let’s look at what jewellery brands actually deal with when they manage fulfilment themselves. These costs add up fast — and most brands underestimate them.

Space & Vaults Cost a Fortune

Keeping a large inventory needs a warehouse, vaults, and surveillance. If you go to a cheaper tier 2-3 location to save rent, delivery distances increase — and courier costs go up.

Manpower is Endless

You need staff for warehouse management, inventory, vault security, admin, packaging, dispatch, and transport. Each person is a fixed cost, every month, no matter how many orders you ship.

Risk is Entirely Yours

Damage, theft, mismatch, lost packages — when you manage fulfilment in-house, every loss comes out of your pocket. Insurance is expensive and complicated.

Big Orders Create Chaos

A 200-store order on the same day? That means 200 individual trunks, store-wise packing, simultaneous dispatch. Impossible to do in-house without massive pre-investment.

Slow Delivery Hurts Sales

Customers today expect fast delivery. If your warehouse is far from delivery zones, you're already behind. Speed is a competitive advantage — and most in-house setups can't match it.

Inventory Goes Out of Sync

Without the right systems, your physical stock and your system records drift apart. Mismatches mean wrong shipments, unhappy customers, and messy audits.

How BVC Solves All Of This

The Full Fulfilment Process — Step By Step

Here’s exactly how your jewellery moves from your store to your customer’s door when you partner with BVC

  1. YOUR END

Step 1 — Quality Check Your Inventory

Before anything moves, you do a QC check on all items. Once approved, each piece is packed in a tamper-proof security bag with a unique SKU reference linked to that item. This is the identity tag your jewellery carries through the entire journey.

  2. TRANSFER TO BVC

Step 2 — Send Stock To BVC Fulfilment Centre

Give BVC advance intimation before dispatching. When the shipment arrives at BVC, the security team checks the courier's details, verifies the physical condition of each parcel, confirms the seal is intact, and records everything in the inward register.

  3. BVC INBOUND

    Step 3 — Document Verification

The inward operations team cross-verifies every document. Airway Bill numbers on the boxes are checked against courier documentation. Any mismatch is flagged immediately. One signed challan copy goes back to the courier; one stays with BVC. A daily inward report is sent to the manager.

  4. BVC OPERATIONS

Step 4 — Unboxing, Counting & Verification Under CCTV

The operations team opens your shipment under CCTV surveillance. Every product is counted and matched with the Transfer Order (TO). If anything is short or mismatched, they report it immediately and save the unboxing video. Then each item is scanned into the system and its image is matched with the physical product.

  5. BVC VAULTING

Step 5 — Assigned To A Vault Rack & Bin Location

Your jewellery is not just placed in a room — it gets a specific rack and bin location inside the vault. That location is logged in the tracking system. Every movement from this point is scanned. Your stock is safe, controlled, and always traceable.

  6. ORDER FULFILMENT

Step 6 — Order Comes In → Pick, Pack, Dispatch

When a customer places an order, the picking team retrieves the correct items from the vault, arranges them per the Transfer Order, and hands to the packing team. Under CCTV and in front of security staff, the packing team verifies product count again, packs using bubble wrap, cotton, honeycomb paper, and corrugated boxes, adds a unique security seal, stamps all documents, and hands to the authorised logistics partner for delivery.

What Happens If A Shipment Arrives Damaged?

BVC has a clear process — nothing is swept under the rug.

If any box or trunk arrives damaged, the security team immediately informs the operations manager. The damaged parcel is only opened in the presence of the courier, security staff, and under CCTV. Photos are taken, the damage is documented in detail, and a report is submitted to the Sourcing Team. If needed, the item is logged and returned. Everything is transparent and traceable.
